Making the Bicycle Disappear

Bikefit training with Paul Swift

Anyone attending the courses will receive a FREE start BikeFit Kit worth £504.99 SRP

For those that don’t know, Paul Swift was the pioneer in bike fit, introducing for the first time in 1996 a system of insole wedging distributed by Lemond Fitness. In 2006 he set up ‘BikeFit’ introducing further refined products to aid bikefitters. There is nobody better equipped to teach hands-on bike fitting than Paul Swift.

Level 1 is predominately hands-on with actual cyclists and focuses on the contact points of the bike. The class starts with the highly regarded BikeFit online course and manual. No other fitting school offers this type of education prior to hands-on training.

Extensive training takes place regarding the foot/pedal interface and then moves onto the pelvis/saddle and hand/handlebar connections. Detailed attention is directed at aspects most fitting schools do not include in their curriculum, especially the lower extremity bio-mechanics that drive the bike forward.

Side view mechanics are also addressed and throughout the course, each body-bike interface is examined to fit the cyclist’s unique body architecture to maximise performance and comfort.
