Prologo began life in back 2007, when founder Salvatore Truglio noticed that saddle design had remained basically unchanged for decades. By utilising technologies more commonly found in motorsport, Prologo crafted their first saddle; making sure to focus their efforts on the technology that went into the designs. By 2009, Prologo had designed their Connect Power Control technology (CPC). Adapted from industrial nano technology that had previously been used in Formula 1 cars, CPC was a super grippy polymer that was specially designed to grip whilst also absorbing vibrations from the road. The technology used in the CPC was so successful that it can still be found on Prologo saddles today.
In the relatively short time that Prologo have been around they have managed to infiltrate the highest tier of the world of cycling. Having seen riders such as Bradley Wiggins, Peter Sagan, Fabian Cancellara, Vincenzo Nibali, Alberto Contador and even cyclocross World Champion Wout Van Aert all atop their saddles.
Prologo have specialised in crafting a wide range of saddles used by professionals and armatures alike. Every Prologo saddle is based on one of their core models (Nago, Zero, Scratch, Kappa and TGale), each incorporating a variety of combinations of their signature technologies and styles, allowing every rider to find a saddle that’s perfect for them. Prologo have also invested copious amounts of research and development into their Dea range, crafted specifically for women.
