Assembly Assistant

Description:

We are experiencing strong growth and huge demand for our products from an expanding base of retailers and we strive to provide the best service possible. To maintain these high standards we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Cycle Assembly Technician to work within our bike building department. 

The role will be centred in our assembly facility in Ditchling where we build Orro and De Rosa bikes from scratch. Your main responsibilities would be picking the bike components from our OEM warehouse in preparation to be passed to one of our mechanics. Once bikes are assembled they would be passed back to you for partial disassembly and packing into one of our custom designed bike boxes. 

The right candidate will have enthusiasm, a hard working attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work on their own initiative. Being organised, presentable and possessing good communications skills, as well as a polite friendly manner will allow you to fit into the team and improve your chances of a successful application. All training will be given but a working knowledge of Road bikes would be advantageous.

Workshop Technician

Orro Bikes, a brand at the forefront of British bike design producing Carbon,  Aluminium and Titanium road and gravel bikes, have an opening for a talented, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Bike Technician to join our expanding production department!

Our bicycles are hand-built in our busy Sussex workshop, and you will play a pivotal role in meeting increasing customer demand and supporting the Company in achieving its productions goals in an efficient and timely manner.

A working knowledge of Road bikes is important as the primary responsibility will be assembling performance Road and gravel bikes.

Technical requirements desired are:

  • A good level of cycle maintenance skills
  • Relevant qualifications and experience (although training can be offered to the right candidate)
  • good technical knowledge of Di2, ETAP, EPS and Campagnolo products is preferred but not essential, but you must be keen to learn

Warehouse Operative

Orro Bikes, a brand at the forefront of British bike design producing Carbon, Aluminium, Titanium and Steel Road and Gravel bikes, have an opening for an enthusiastic & hardworking Warehouse/Workshop Assistant to support our expanding production department!

Our bicycles are hand-built in our busy Sussex workshop, and you will play a pivotal role supporting the Production Team to meet increasing customer demand and achieve productions goals in an efficient and timely manner.

The role is centred in our busy assembly facility in Ditchling where we assemble bikes from start to finish. Your main responsibilities will be picking the bike components from our OEM warehouse ready for our Bike Mechanics to use in production. Once bikes are assembled, they would be returned to you for partial disassembly and packing into one of our custom designed bike boxes ready for the despatch department.

The successful applicant should:

· Have a high degree of accuracy

· Be organised and have good timekeeping

· Be presentable

· Be able to work on own initiative

· Possess good communication skills

· Have a polite, professional manner with a positive friendly attitude

· Have the ability to follow instruction and meet targets
