We are delighted to introduce to the Uk Market Pioneer’s all-new single crank power meter, targeted at recreational cyclists who want to improve their performance, and want to accurately gauge their progress.
Apart from being renowned for its high end audio, car audio and Sat Nav products Pioneer is now a well-established name among professional cyclists, thanks to its partnerships with Giant-Alpecin, Lotto Nl-Jumbo and Raboliv.  Topline riders benefitting from this system include John Degenkolb, Marian Vos, Robert Gesink & Tom Dumoulin.
The extensive real-world feedback of these Pro riders and their team coaches has been used to further enhance the performance and reliability of Pioneer’s power meters, during many thousands of race kilometers.

Pioneer in use

Their new single crank power meter uses the very same hardware found in the dual legged powermeter used by these riders. It will work with any Ant+ headunit such as Garmin. The dual leg power meters and Pioneer’s headunits, which display real time pedalling efficiency, are also available through us here at i-ride.
The dual sided system when combined with Pioneer’s own headunit gives more information than any other power meter on the market – if a rider is already producing good numbers the Pioneer System is the only meter that will show accurately where further improvements can be made.

Exclusive Pioneer Technology

Pioneer has developed a training tool for riders to improve their abilities more efficiently. This new system allows training with a focus on pedaling for power training that surpasses all other available systems. While riding, pedaling efficiency and other data are measured and displayed in real time. After riding, the rider's strengths and weaknesses are analysed via the Cyclo-Sphere web-analysis service. Analysis results can also provide feedback on ways to improve for the next training session. With repeated use, riders can achieve more ideal pedaling skills. When athletes use this system in their training with specific areas for improvement in mind, it will allow them to attain better results in future races and other events.

Learn the characteristics of your own pedal strokes in real time

The Pioneer pedaling monitor system makes it possible to measure and display not only cadence and individual left and right power, but also, for the first time in any power meter, power output and power direction at thirty degree intervals. The measured power output and power direction are displayed as easy to understand "force vectors", so that anyone can quickly discover their own pedaling characteristics.
