Elite Stem

The classic Thomson Elite is still manufactured for people who want to run 25.4 bars. The center tubular section of the Thomson stem is tapered with a constant wall thickness resulting in a high stiffness to weight ratio. The torsional rigidity of the Thomson stem is over 155 foot pounds per degree, the highest of any stem we have tested. The stem is annodized to prevent corrosion, and maintain a nice appearance. Thomson Elite stems are available with a black anodize finish.

The Thomson stem is machined from 7000 series aluminum. The stem is one-piece design with no welds or joints.

The Thomson stem has passed extensive life and ultimate strength tests.
