Lens Colours

Clear colour - The clear lens offers optimum visibility in poor light conditions. it is particularly suited to use at night in order to protect the eyes from dust or other foreign objects during sports activities. It transmits 92% of the light.

Orange colour - The Orange lens is suited to various light conditions. The color orange reflects blue light and in flat light conditions offers excellent contrast so that optimum visual perception is guaranteed. The Orange lens transmits 70% of the light.

Smoke colour - The Smoke lens is particularly suited to situations of good visibility (a moderately sunny day or a winter day) since they transmit 22% of the light. This type of lens does not alter color perception, and at the same time ensures enormous comfort.

Mirrored colour - A mirrored lens offers excellent protection on really sunny days and reflects a high level of light. It transmits 12% of the light.

Multilayer - This type of treatment increases the visual perception of color and accentuates contrast outdoors. The mirrored multilayer effect is not only attractive in appearance, but also reduces the percentage of infrared rays that hit the eye. The Multilayer lens transmits 18% of the light.

Lens Options

POLARIZING LENS - Polarizing lenses effectively block out reflected light, so they prevent any image distortion. they also
considerably reduce or totally eliminate reflected glare, which is mainly responsible for this problem. -Predator Glasses
PHOTOCHROMIC LENS - Photochromic lenses change color intensity depending on exposure to the light, and as a result alter the sun
protection of the lens. 100% protection from UVA and UVB rays.-Razor Glasses
POLICARBONATE LENS - Polycarbonate offers first-rate optical features, excellent impact resistance and extraordinary lightness. it has a low
refraction index and does not let ultraviolet rays filter through. All polycarbonate lenses are subjected to surface hardening treatments that
make them resistant to abrasions and solvents.
WATER-REPELLENT LENS - the lenses undergo a treatment to make their surface particularly smooth. drops of water slide off the lens,
leaving the surface practically dry and free from the water prisms that cause distorted vision. Perfect visibility even when it is raining or the
lenses are wet.
OFF-CENTER LENS - the accentuated curvature ensures total eye protection from potentially harmful external factors, such as the sun’s rays
or insects, but it may distort the field of vision. This is why all Northwave sunglasses have lenses with an off-centre base: the axis of the focal
centre is perfectly aligned with the focal centre of the eyes, so the correct and natural balance of the line of vision is restored. this design
feature prevents image distortion and eye fatigue.
